FitFlow ("we", "us") is a running and fitness app, operated by Blue Gem Enterprise, a sole proprietorship registered in Malaysia (registration no. 202603194377), Bukit Mertajam, Pulau Pinang. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and your choices. By using FitFlow you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
Account information — your email address and display name when you sign up (via email/password or Google Sign-In).
Location & activity data — when you record a run, we collect GPS location to calculate your route, distance, pace, splits and elevation. Recording only happens while you actively start a run.
Content you create — runs, titles, photos you attach, comments, kudos, clubs, challenges and goals.
Social connections — who you follow and who follows you.
How we use your information
To record, calculate and display your runs and training progress.
To power social features — your feed, clubs, challenges, kudos and comments.
To provide training plans and match your runs to scheduled workouts.
To operate FitFlow Pro subscriptions and process payments.
To keep the service secure and working.
Background location
On Android, FitFlow uses a foreground service with a persistent notification to keep tracking your run accurately when your screen is off. Location is only used to record the run you started, and only while a recording is active.
How your information is shared
We do not sell your personal data. Runs and profile information you post are visible to other users according to your follow/feed settings. We use trusted service providers to run the app:
Supabase — database, authentication and file storage (hosting your account and run data).
Google — optional Google Sign-In.
Stripe — payment processing for FitFlow Pro. We never receive or store your full card details.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the address below; we will remove your personal data promptly.
Your choices
You control whether to grant location and notification permissions; the app asks before recording.
You can edit or delete your runs, goals and social connections in the app.
You can cancel FitFlow Pro at any time from the app.
Children
FitFlow is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
We may update this policy; the "last updated" date above will change. Material changes will be communicated in the app.
